Dr. Crandall has a diverse background, working from coast to coast in the industry with equine athletes from all disciplines.
She completed her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at Texas A&M University followed by internships at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Northern California and the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center.
She stayed on at New Bolton Center through 2023 to complete her surgical residency, garnering unique exposure to learn how to incorporate surgical technologies with a variety of advanced imaging modalities to further benefit the competitive horse.
Prior to sitting her ACVS boards, she spent 6 months in Australia at a busy practice in the heart of the Thoroughbred breeding industry in Southeast Queensland.
She returns from her travels very eager to join our team and build relationships within our community.
She has a wide appreciation for all aspects of equine sports medicine and surgery.
While being an equine surgeon is a lifestyle in itself, when not working she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and a terrible round of golf.
