Fairfield Equine proudly offers one of the most technically advanced equine surgical suites in the country. Modern equipment and a superior staff enables our surgeons to perform a broad range of procedures—from emergency colic and soft tissue procedures to specialized and advanced orthopedic surgeries. Fairfield Equine understands that each patient requires individualized and specialized hands-on care and attention. We pride ourselves on staffing the appropriate team: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide an immaculate hospital environment, complete with a team of highly trained veterinary technicians, to meet all of your horse's needs.

In addition to our staff surgeon, Dr. Ryland Edwards, we are able to offer the services of two highly-regarded equine orthopedic surgeons.  Dr. Alan Nixon from Cornell University and Dr. Wayne McIlwraith from Colorado State University provide their services as required for specialized surgical procedures.
